The Economy..

Are things starting to turn around?  Maybe so, maybe not?  I seen where home sales are up and its alot more then they expected.  I have watched my stock fall lately but Norfolk Southern is up. $4.49 in the past 5 days.  The stock bottomed out at 26.69 a few weeks ago and its up to $35.94 today.  Maybe things are heading in the right direction now.  I have always been told at work that the Railroads are the last to feel the effects of a sour economy, but are also the first to see when things start to turn around.  So when carloads start going up I will let ya know!

Frustrated black lawmakers staged a walkout Friday after the Georgia House decided to delay another vote on a resolution that would have honored President Barack Obama as a politician with an “unimpeachable reputation for integrity, vision and passion.”

I think we have another issue that is a 1000 times more important then this crap.  That would be the economy!  The Black lawmakers are going to walk out because we delay a dumb vote like this.  The man has not even been in the office a whole quarter.  Then when you find out that the only reason it has not been voted on yet is because or 3 or 4 words.  I hope these idiots are  not re-elected!

State Frowns on New York Doctor’s $79 Flat Fee..

A doctor in New York wants you to pay him $79 a month and you can visit him as many times as you like.  He says that it would cut out a ton of paper work saving him time and money.  But the Gov. has stepped in and told him to stop because he is not a insurance company.  Great job Gov. sounds like it was a good idea to me.  Well if you are uninsured,  It only cost me $20 a visit when anyone in my household goes.

Diego Sanchez vs Joe Stevenson

Sanchez looked pretty impressive. But Joe Stevenson was not that bad himself. He took every thing Sanchez had to throw at him. I think Joe was just surprisedthat Sanchez kept backing away rather then going toe to toe with each other in the middle of the ring.  But one thing I like about the Sanchez – Stevenson fight is that they both could shake hands after the fight.  They both left nothing in the ring.  There were no cheap shots or anything  just a good ol fight.  And at the end they could both shake hands and say good fight. 

But I’m ready to see what Sanchez can do at lightweight.  Only time will tell!

Atro-Phex *UPDATE*

I took a week off from taking the Atro-Phex. I gained back 1 pound after weighing today. I stayed hunger all week long. I would have thought that I would have gained alot more then 1 pound but thats great!! I will start back taking the 2 pills a day, hoping to get closer to my goal. I’m sitting at 229!

He should be back next week! I have not watched the first thing of golf since his last win. I cant wait to see what the ratings are when he comes back. I bet they are through the roof. I know I will be watching!

Tifton Railroad Crossings

What does everyone think about the work that was done at a few of the crossing through Tifton? I also seen in the Rant and Rave where someone was complaining in about the crossing on Tift Ave. All it takes is a few phone calls and the railroad will be out there repaving the crossing. Just a word of advice. Writing a complaint in the Gazette is not going to get it corrected!
